It sits in the HCM suite, beside leave, payroll and employee records.
Most operators already own the pieces: a fingerprint reader by the door, a roster on a whiteboard, a leave register in a drawer, and a spreadsheet that reconciles all three near month-end. Time tracking software earns its keep by deleting that last step. The device, the roster and the leave balances write to one record, so hours are settled before payroll opens.
